Youth ministry

The Huntington Court UMC Youth Ministry is committed to teaching, encouraging, and connecting the youth of HCUMC. Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and engaging space for Youth to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

As a Youth Ministry, we value:
- Healthy friendships and families
- Competitive fun that helps foster communities in Christ
- Opportunities to serve our community in mission
- Building our faith through structured Bible-based learning

The Vision of HCUMC Youth Ministry is for Youth to have regular weekly opportunities for spiritual growth, monthly opportunities to serve their communities in mission, and monthly opportunities to fellowship with their peers in fun activities both in and out of the church.

Youth Sunday School

We value your discipleship. In Youth Sunday School you will learn what it means to be a Christian and disciple of Christ, engage with your peers in games, discussion, and activities, and deepen your knowledge of the word of God so that you can apply that word to your life.

Samantha McEnhimer.JPG

My name is Samantha McEnhimer. For seven years, I worked at Cameron Middle School in Nashville, TN as the Library Media Specialist.  I am also a Foster Parent, Children's Minister, and Author.  My first book was a self-published Christian education book for teens and young adults called Follow and Seek.

I am a graduate of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA with a BA in English Literature and Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN with an MS in Library and Information Science. I became a licensed minister in December of 2017.

I have always loved guiding young people. I worked as a children's ministry volunteer at Mt Zion Baptist Church Nashville, Christ Presbyterian Church in Brentwood TN, and Ascend Nashville.

If you have any questions, concerns, want to volunteer, or just want to say hello, please feel free to email me. I look forward to hearing from you!
