“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

We are about to enter a new year and with it are countless opportunities that lie before us. The key is before us.

You see so often we miss out what God is doing here and now in our lives because we are dwelling on our past. However, God calls us to open our eyes to see what new thing God is doing NOW in our lives and we will miss out on seeing them if we are constantly looking backwards (i.e. dwelling on the past).

So, let’s look forward with eager anticipation to what God has in store for us in the coming New Year. Happy New Year!
