This battle is not for you to fight; take your position, stand still, and see the victory of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, and the LORD will be with you.” (2 Chronicles 20:17, NIV)

How often do you find yourself wrestling with fears?  Fears like snakes, or heights or flying?  Or what about wrestling with fears like the fear of tomorrow?  You know, you find yourself dwelling on the fear of “what if” as you wonder what tomorrow brings?

In the Bible it tells about a time when King Jehoshaphat had been warned that his people were about to face a large scale invasion. Yet instead of drowning in fear, he took time to pray and fast. In fact, he called the whole nation of Judah to do the same, and with it God reminded him to not be afraid for God would be with them tomorrow and God would deliver them.

But did you know what?  That is the same message we are called to hear as well. Whatever fears you are facing tomorrow, God promises to be with you and deliver you as well.
