The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:5, NIV)

December 4, 2017

I love lights and I always have.  From the neon lights of Las Vegas, the torch lights of Waikiki, to of course Christmas lights this time of year -the more lights the better.

Of course the one light I love most is the light that loves me most – Jesus. In John’s gospel John describes Jesus as light – light that enters even the darkest places of our lives to guide us and give us life. John even goes as far as to say no matter how dark those places are in our lives, Jesus still shines brighter

So as you drive around this month looking at lights, let’s not forget THE Light-Jesus.
