Sending thank you cards appears to many to be a dying art. In our world where it is so much simpler to text, email, or post on line thanks, the art of taking the time to pen out the words of heartfelt thanks seems to be becoming a thing of the past for many.
However, there is something special still about receiving a handwritten note as the recipient often recognizes the time and energy that was put behind it.
Saying or giving thanks….
This week is Thanksgiving and I want to invite us to say thanks to God for all our many blessings. Now I am not saying go buy a card and send it to heaven, but what I am saying is take the time to give thanks for all you have been blessed with in the past year. In fact, I would then challenge you to make giving thanks a regular part of your prayer life.
