Jesus told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
The Rita Engle Circle is open to ALL women attendees at HCUMC. We meet the 4th Wednesday of each month, Sept.-May. Our programs revolve around our United Methodist Women's Mission of helping better the lives of mothers and children.
Children and Youth Ministries
Church 4 Children: A worship experience specifically designed for children to be able to be a kid. Having fun with the other children with crafts, games, skits, singing and dancing. While learning to build strong, lasting relationships with Jesus.
Youth: A time for our teenagers to relax and get away from the stress of being an adolescent. Through preforming acts of service, studying the bible, and just having fun we build a strong family bond. While continuing to build and strengthen our lasting Relationship with Jesus.
We believe God calls us to be life long learners. To help with this we encourage our members and guests to be involved in study whether it be in a small group, Sunday school class, personal devotion or one of our weekly Bible Study Classes.
Our Sunday school classes meet at 9:45 on Sunday and there are classes for all ages.
Our Bible study classes meet at 6:30pm on Monday and 10:30am on Wednesdays (Off for the summer)
For information on getting involved in a small group near you, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Every fourth Wednesday of the month the Men's Ministry group meets at 6:30 p.m. at Famous Anthony's on Williamson Road to enjoy food, fellowship and study to strengthen and practice faith.
"And you must love Him with all your heart and soul and mind and strength" Mark 12:30. In Holy Yoga we worship God with the fullness of our being. We worship with our meditations, our breath, and our body to become strong in Him.
All levels are welcome on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm and most Saturdays at 10 am. Check with the office about the class schedule.
The Huntington Court Choir sings each Sunday at our traditional 8:30 a.m. service and meets weekly on Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for rehearsal.
The adult choir includes singers ranging from high school to "seasoned" performers. A wide variety of genre ranging from traditional, gospel, contemporary, as well as celebratory cantatas is performed by the choir. Richly blessed to have a choir of talented musicians, our members come together to praise God with their talents. We invite and look forward to vocalists interested in joining our choir to contact our choir director at email@example.com
Song Writers Workshop
Foundation worship leader, Amanda Bocchi, facilitates a songwriters workshop every Thursday in the sanctuary at Huntington Court UMC from 6:30-8pm.
The group is open to all ages. Our mission is to create meaningful connection through songwriting. It is a real and beautiful experience for everyone who comes together because we are all different ages, genders, races and backgrounds but through the journaling and songwriting process we come to realize that beneath everything we are experiencing the same grace and lessons dispite our outward differences. You don’t have to be a musician, writer or singer- everyone is welcome and everyone participates in working on a song collectively each workshop.
