ministry
The Huntington Court UMC Children's Ministry is committed to teaching, encouraging, and connecting the children of HCUMC. Our mission is to provide a safe, engaging, and Bible-based experience that will help grow the children of HCUMC into confident and fruitful disciples of Christ.
Sunday Service
We value your child and their discipleship. In Children's church, your child will develop lifetime connections, grow their faith, and create a foundation that they can build upon in their lifelong Christian walk.
Times
10:30 AM Nursery (infant to 4yrs)
10:30 AM Children 5-11 yrs (RM 207)
Interested in Volunteering
The children's ministry needs volunteers. Please see the position description below and email smcenhimer@gmail.com to find out how you can serve.
Aide/ Room Monitor: (18yr old and up only must be a
member of HCUMC)
The aide position requires the adult to interact with a small group of children and has a 1.5-hour time commitment.
Aide volunteers are expected to arrive at their post 15 minutes before the start of service and can leave their post at the completion of the service when all children have checked-out and the area has been disinfected.
Aide volunteers must have a desire to work with children and are expected to assist the teacher with games and activities. Aides will also assist individual children as they have needs. This position may call for any number of tasks as a child has needs. If a child has a need then the aide will see to it so that the teacher can continue teaching uninterrupted.
Upcoming Events
Join us for a whole ministry event. We will be going to Splash Valley on Sunday, August 14th at 4 PM as a whole group both Children and Youth. Meet us there in your bathing suit. All members of the church and their families will be paid for, friends are welcome but will need to pay for their own entry at the cost of $7 per person. Don't forget your towel. See you there!

Join us at 10:30 AM every Sunday.

Children's Church will include: activities, a memory verse, and a bible lesson appropriate for ages 5 to 11

All families will need to register the first time they attend.

Children's Sunday School

Join us from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM every Sunday in Room 207.

Children's Sunday School will include: activities, crafts, and a bible lesson appropriate for ages 5 to 11

For children attending the 10:30 AM service, after Children's Sunday School, child care will be provided along with a snack.
